Question Best powered /active cheap little monitors

Hi! I am looking for a cheap small powered speaker system like the ones for computers ..
I reakky prefer without subs,,,,
I heard the bose that cost $100 was a piece of crap...you could feel how the amp compress the sound everytime is more information on the mix!!

I need something where I can get a decent/ok sound but mainly to reference my mixes like in a low end consumer system.,

any advice /options?

Not many decent products out there at that price range.

These are probably the best you are gonna do at under 100 bucks without a sub.

You'd probably do better with a good set of headphones.

Pony up a little more, and spend $350 on the Blue Sky EXO's. They are a sub satellite combo, but clean, and powerful with minimal space impact. You're not gonna find a better product under 400 bux for the set.

If you don't want a sub, spend more and get some KRK's.
