Question As of July 25th, 2007, Mini-Me is no longer available

On the Apogee website:
http://www.apogeedigital.com/products/minime.php

Anyone know why?

Is something else coming down the pipeline to replace it?

Maybe a two channel Ensemble?

I found an explanation as to why the Apogee Mini-me has been discontinued, for your info:

Alright, that certainly helped me make a decision I was trying to decide on at the moment. Hopefully they will release something very soon to replace it, since I was really looking for a portable solution of that type.

SOunds like they dropped the ball on that one....

I was starting to think about something like a mMe for a choir tour next summer. Maybe Appogee is out of the running.

Here for the gear

Of course it is only for the mac. Is Apogee becoming a mac only company ?

Does anyone make a professional grade, two channel all in one interface for the PC ? Something with two good ch's of conversion, useable mic pre's, and stable drivers, that doesn't cost a fortune ?
The RME FF400 is an option I suppose, but the pre's are a little blah IMO. What I want is something like the Metric Halo ULN-2 for the PC.

Makes me wonder. If they are I'll spend $7000 with Lynx next time I upgrade.
