RME ADI-8 Question

Hi there.

Would the addition of an RME ADI-8 be a good step forwards to achieve 8 channels of good quality conversion as a link between my analogue board and a Digi 003?

Thank you in advance

Lots of stuff posted around here about the quality of RME convertors. But to answer your question: yes.

I have both. The 003 converters are rather nice, at least for my uses (2-3 tracks of solo fingerstyle acoustic guitar). I wouldn't say that the ADI 8 Pro converters are better. Different, yes. Complementary, yes.

ADi-8 can only go as high as 48K. If you're recording at that rate or 44K, it's a very good sounding convertor.
