M-Audio Air 192 interfaces?

I've been looking at the M-Audio Air 192|14 interface, as I need a cheap interface with 4 pre's and I like the visible mic/line levels.

There's not much online about these. Does anyone have more info about their pre's or converters?

While the spec looks good (-128db EIN), I saw a review of the the Air Hub model (cheap volume control in the same series with no pre's) that suggested the converters were awful, and the one test on GS here:
Audio Interface - Low Latency Performance Data Base

suggests the noise floor on the smaller 192|6 model is more like -103db, which is worse than other cheap interfaces (but this was mostly a latency test, so not sure if the noise test is reliable)

Now I don't know about all of those numbers, but if I were you, I would either get a Behringer UMC1820 (most inputs + reliability) or Audient ID14 (AD/DA conversion). I'm pretty sure both have ADAT expansion, so you could add pres. I know that Behringer in general is much maligned, especially on online forums, but I own and regularly use a UMC404HD, and the quality is pretty great for the price. The drivers for M-Audio stuff in general are not too great from what I have heard, but I don't know from experience.

Here for the gear

I picked up a Air 192/14 about a month ago for the additional inputs over my Motu M2 and have been happy with both units on a older laptop running Windows 10 using Reaper!

Lives for gear
Can't speak to the M-Audio, don't hear much about them these days, but the newer Behringer units are getting almost all very positive feedback FWIW.
