Behringer Umc1820 vs M-AUDIO M-Track 8

I have a very newbie question.

I own an M-Audio M-Track 8 which only offers me 8 mono lines in my DAW, meaning, I can only connect up to four synthesizers in stereo mode, using one input for Left and another for Right.

Are the Umc1820's inputs stereo? It says it's XLR connection, but I don't quite understand if that allows me to connect a synth on each one of these inputs and obtain a stereo track in my DAW for each one of my synthesizers.

I will appreciate clarification.

Thanks

Each input on the 1820 is mono. The hybrid jacks allow for line-level TRS connections, or mic-level XLR connections. One synth would need 2 inputs to achieve a stereo signal.

XLR just means that the mono signal is carried by 2 conductors. Same goes for TRS.
