Are these vocals uncomforting/too sexy

I recorded this with an acoustic guitar and a desktop mic using the motherboards sound card.
I listened to my music from a few years ago and it struck me as an emo greenday rip off band.fastforward, I made this song last week and now that I'm listening to it I'm wondering if my voice is too masked, quiet and unprofessional.

i fear i may need to rethink things and speak with my big boy voice. is this true?

I think my goal for the month is to ditch the sexy. Do you guys agree?

I fear this is the vibe my subconscious strives for.

As someone who cannot sing any better than you i think it sounds fine to me. You have a bit if a 80s goth thing going and i like it. I didn't feel sexy at all though, sorry. Neither did my wife.

Interesting to hear. I may just have to except this singing style as where my voice wants to be. Ive tried loud in your face hetfield type stuff but it either doesn't feel natural or vibrates my neighbors walls.

I can't really hear them but the song is good and the voice is good melody wise

drums need to be quantized and some pitch correction is in order. Sounds like Nirvana

I will focus on the drum feel in future recordings. the midi must not be coping with my human touch. Interesting to hear that the vocals are inaudible. I will be looking out for how vocals sit in mixes.
