Adam t7v comparison

Ok, it is available for buying in my country, and it is cheaper than yamaha hs7 ...

Ofc, I'm aware that price mostly equals quality, but im really tempted to ask ...

Did someone had their ears or hands on them ?

How are they comparing to F7, a7x, HS7/ HS8, lsr 308, focal alpha 65/80 ?

Answers would be really appreciated

I am interested as well. Nearly bought HS7 after listening them in store but deceided to wait for new Adams in same price range. The release date is said to be April here in Europe. Waiting for some reviews or impressions before pulling the trigger. They really seem like nice monitors according to specs. I am not too sure about 70W amplifier though compared to 95W from Yamaha.

Ye, pretty much same here, also specs are ones that are nice, but I need thoughts about them, especially compared to other monitors ...

I would go and test them, but I'm not that experienced in monitor sounds, and don't have option to compare them to all of upper mentioned monitors, except a7x ...

So, it's been 2 days now, some reviews on tube and ...

Im mostly interested in - bass and loudness of the adam t7v compared to some of the upper mentioned monitors around their class ... since they are only 70w of power ...

And I think most of the people would like to read more about them ...

The 95-watt versus 70-watt difference is about 1.33 dB. As always in speakers, the sensitivity of the drivers (SPL at 1-watt at 1-meter) makes all the difference in whether the amplifier wattage is an issue or not.

I recently checked the specs on a mighty subwoofer that was rated to be able to manage 2000-watts RMS. [ RE Audio XXX12-v2-2 12" Cast Frame DVC Subwoofer Driver 2+2 Ohm ]

Its sensitivity is under 84dB/watt/meter. What that means in general/optimal terms is that this $720 device, when driven with 2000-watts would put out the same level of sound (SPL) as a 94dB/watt/meter speaker driven by a 200-watt amp; or a 104dB/watt/meter speaker driven by a 20-watt amp.

Sad isn't it? I didn't want to hijack your discussion, but I did want to get in early to make the point that within active speakers, we're never/rarely given the actual driver sensitivity ratings, so we have no way of knowing how close to maximum the internal amplifiers are pushing the drivers. Don't sweat the 20 watt difference.

Carry on!

Thanks for explaining, waiting for some comparison between them and others

I found this!!

I found this!! https://youtu.be/64wfMYpACEQ

in this video, I recommend listening on good headphones with wide frequency ranges, so that you can a/b the difference UNCOLOURED by your hs7 or t7v

I found by this video, that the t7v had a much more accurate freq response than hs7. I'm so gonna by them! unless you change my mind
