Lexicon MX400 analog + spdif?

Hi,
Is it possible to use the spdif AND analog connexion at the same time?
Here is how I want to use the MX400:

Spdif A in (L) : reverb
Spdif A in (R) : delay
Spdif A out L+R : fx return

Analog B in (L) : Flanger
Analog B in (R) : Chorus or Phaser
Analog B out L+R : fx return

And the MX400 would receive the sync from the spdif out of my soundcard.

Is it OK??

Do you have the unit already or just researching before a purchase? I have an MX400 and I think it can be setup in the way you want, but not 100% sure. I have contacted Lexicon support in the past and they were helpful the question I had. Shoot them your question and see if they can give an answer.

I don't have it. I would buy it only if I can do what I want.
I contacted Lexicon but the answer was one phrase!!!..... Really bad support!!!

Please someone could confirm that it is possible to do what I need??
Thank you!!!

The guy from Lexicon just apologies about his answer... He don't really know the MX400......

What I would like to do between Ableton Live and MX400:

Aux 1 from DAW to SPDIF in A (L): Reverb
Aux 2 from DAW to SPDIF in A (R): Delay
Stereo return to DAW from SPDIF out A (L/R)

Aux 3 from DAW to ANALOG in B (L): Flanger
Aux 4 from DAW to ANALOG in B (R): Phaser
Stereo return to DAW from ANALOG out B (L/R)

Is it possible? Or can I have only two effects (in serial) on A and two effects on B (in serial too)? And please can you confirm that I can use A in SPDIF and B in ANALOG at the same time (and both!)...??

Thank you!

These are some of the setup screens that I believe get you where you want. The SPDIF out is taken off the corresponding A or B analog out (mentioned in the manual)and can be processed or dry. 'NO LOCK' is shown since I don't have a SPIDF clock source connected. You'll need to setup the effect configuration to be 'DUAL MONO' as shown in 'Nashville' 'Big Pop Vocal' pic. I did not confirm this will work as I don't want to rework the cabling I have behind the rack just to try this.

OK so it is possible to set digital as input source for A, and analog for B. Good!

But is it also possible to set digital as output for A, and analog for B??

And can you confirm that I can't use 4 effects independently? I can only have 2 effects in serial on A and same on B, right?

Something like:

Aux 1 from DAW to SPDIF in A (L/R) : Reverb + Delay in serial
Stereo return to DAW from SPDIF A out (L/R)

Aux 2 from DAW to ANALOG in B (L/R) : Flanger + Reverb in serial
Stereo return to DAW from ANALOG B out (L/R)

Am I right??

Thank you!
