Anyone simply compare and contrast the RNC and the RNLA?

What are the differences? Not so much technically, but artistically? Streghts of one over the other?

The RNC in SuperNice mode is for gain reduction in situations when you really don't want to hear the compressor. Decent for strummy acoustic guitars, overheads (if you're into compressing them), etc. In regular mode, it's a little more obvious.

The RNLA is for when you want to hear the character of the compressor. I like it for vocals and bass. You can push it pretty hard and it still sounds good.

Thanks, perhaps I'll get one of each.

For whatever reason I see RNC's going used all the time, but hardly ever RNLA's (??)

Perhaps people are more inclined to hold on to the RNLA...

I imagine it's just a supply/demand issue. The RNC has been around a lot longer and there are many more of them out there.
