Vintage Russian tube Microphone Lomo 19A9 Lenkinap 1962 year. Made in Russia with a 33mm large diaphragm gold plated, this mic has a wide cardioid pattern and is very sensitive. It is a Lomo 19A9 tube microphone made in Russia in 1962. The head has a large diaphragm M 7 type cardioid capsule. The sound reminds me of a cross between a C 12 and a Neumann U 47.
Well, FWIW, I own pretty much every Lomo made, save for the 19A1, and 19A10. I've used the 19A19 on vocals a bunch, and it's stunningly good. It doesn't always beat a 67 or a 47, but it often does. The 19A13 is also a wonderful vocal mic, and regularly outperforms a 47 or 251...
