Amplifier channel [email protected] for 2 X B&C DE550_8Ω

Hi Boys! Need some help ...

After heavy reading still wondering IF Dynacord cl800 will have the power to run two B&C DE550_8Ω (70W RMS) on a chanel rated [email protected]%THD 20 to 20k.

I have the amps and i am thinking going biamp on the speakers. The passive filters are really crappy.

AMP:

DRIVER:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NV...cP8ivMICGrMgty

Thanks ...

Most definitely yes. Rule of thumb: recommended amp power for any given driver is anywhere between driver RMS and twice that number. In this case the amp delivers 300W RMS when a load of 4 Ohms is connected. When setting up the two drivers per channel in parallel their combined impedance becomes 4 Ohms, leaving you with a 300W RMS amp to power a pair of drivers that do well with 140W RMS. The result is a few dB's of headroom that will help keep the drivers alive when big peaks come through (rather than the amp going into clipping, delivering DC and frying the voice coils).

TLDR: connect drivers per two in parallel and hit the road.

Many thanks for your time.

At the HF end - case closed

At the Low's however i have some incertaintys.

The cabinet will work 100hz and above.
The LF driver is rated 600W AES, 1200 program.

Driver Datasheet:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1G1...8ho-PggwYCZ0HK

Amplifiers are Dynacord Cl2000 rated [email protected] 20to 20k

Amplifier Datasheet:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/14gz...ew?usp=sharing

When conected in parallel they will receive 420W
(rule of thumb says min 600w)

Things to consider
1. Amp are rated in RMS Driver in AES
2. Amp are rated 20hz to 20kHz actually will drive 100hz to 1kHz
3. HF 70W, LF 600 (Is the LF power a little bit more for 70W HF in means of balanced sound)

All this considered is it a smart compromise to use the amps we have.

Thanks in advance

The LF amp is a bit on the small side for the LF drivers. I'd recommend finding one that delivers at least 1200W RMS at 4 Ohm, the frequency range of the amp doesn't matter much in this case.

I have 3qty dl2000 and 3qty audiocentre DA6.2
Aprox [email protected] bought.

Da6.2 is 5kilos heavyar than 18kg dl2000
And is 2 ohm capable.

I must use 3 of those 6.

How on the small size these amps are. Is it possible to compromise
