USB-C Hubs..

I need a USB hub for my iPad Pro with the following specs:

- 1 USB-C (for charging iPad Pro)
- 1 USB-C (for audio interface)
- 1 or more USB ports for controllers.
- 1 HMDI (4k at 60hz)
- SD slot

Most hubs are with a fixed cable which is not great to say the least.
Others are slow, terrible video output, get hot etc.

Does anyone know a hub with these features that doesn't suck?

Here for the gear

I’m using this one with my iPad Pro 3rd Gen and am very happy with it.

https://www.caldigit.com/usb-c-pro-dock/

Meets all of your requirements except for hdmi out (DisplayPort instead).

HDMI is important to me though.

Also way overpriced for what it offers. (as with pretty much everything sold on Apple's website).

I recommend the Kingston Nucleum. Working well for me on an iPad Pro 2020 and a MacBook Pro. I got it after reading a review by someone who tested a bunch of hubs specifically for music.

Yeah, it has the attached cable which is kind of short but you can add an extension in the length of your choice.

Does it charge your iPad Pro?

The Nucleum supports HDMI 1.4 which is 4k up to 30hz.
I'm looking for one that supports 60hz (which is what the iPad Pro supports if I'm not mistaken).

Got the Anker 7 in 1 hub yesterday for €35,- but it doesn't charge the iPad Pro. It also doesn't support 4k at 60hz unfortunately.

Yes, the Nucleum charges the iPad Pro and MacBook as long as it's connected to a suitable power source. I use USB-C / Thunderbolt for video so I wasn't familiar with the HDMI spec.

So I think I found the perfect solution..

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...ery&term=lauco

Check this out. ONLY 23 HOURS LEFT for a big discount.

I got the 12-1 with 35% discount for 109,- dollar (including shipping). So not the cheapest out there but it offers a lot and the specs are great.

I hope it works as advertised. If anyone is still looking for USB-C Dongle/HUB/Dock, this is the one to get!
