Symphony I/O, Thunderbridge 64, What Apogee software?

Old system OS 10.9.5 Maveric on Mac PRO cylinder "tin can"
Symphony I/O 8x8 and a Thunderbridge 64

In maestro 2 there is "no symphony found" message. Logic pro X has its I/O meny selection changed to Maestro. No sound comes in itunes, Logic, nor in youtube. MIDI setup and Logic audio preference recognice Thunderbridge 64 as soundsorce but....

What software/firmware selection should I use? I tried all kinds of combination.

When requesting download softare from apogee you first have to select the produkt you have, there is three applicable selection options.

Symphony I/O
Symphony I/O 8x8
Symphony 64 Thunderbridge

Which one should I use? I now tried all 3 combos. with different kind of problems in all but no sound from anytning. (Logic pro X can be used with Mac pro soundcard just to get sound out.)

there are 4,6
5,2 that all works with Maverick 10.9

Or should I first update to later OS X?

maybe solved

There was a glitch in the PC32 cable connected into the Thunderbridge's first port due to cable weight had brought it down over the years. OMG.
