In regards to your previous email, unfortunately it is not supported. As the iO Dock II has now been discontinued, newer iOS and Apple devices will not be supported.

Have you considered the Focusrite itrack Dock, which is a fantastic little piece of gear?

I just bought a iOS Dock 2 and accidently updates my iPad to iOS 11. Is there anyway to get this thing to run?

Focusrite just slashed the iTrack dock studio pack, Thomann has them for £99 including shipping.

nice, but the iTrack has no Midi In/Out. So wierd how all manufacturers assume that people want to record instead of routing signals out of the iPad for Synths / Eurorack / analog Mixers etc.

I thought by now it was assumed that all the kids do EDM..

It has a USB host port that will take some MIDI interfaces.

Odd...

My Ipad Air 1 running iOS11 works fine with an old IO Dock v1.

I added a 30-pin to lightning adapter and a lightning extension cable.

Just recorded and mixed a project with it.

I have the V2 and it's being recognised, but then quickly removed with the message "device not supported".

Off the top of my head...

Did you check the power adapter? I've seen that message from devices not receiving proper power and then the ipad tries to bus-power it.

I would also check on a another device like an iphone to see if the device works with that.

I haven't seen a Dock II up close, but is the lightning connector a cable or an adapter on a 30-pin connector? That might be something else to check.
