Left footed open concept drummer

I’ve never seen anyone play like me and I don’t know if it’s hindered me, I kind of got stuck in a basement band and never got out, then got frustrated and quit playing for a long time but always missing it, then one day from a little encouragement got back at it. I posted a couple videos under Rob A Drums recently, a quick recording of my new Evans drum heads and I did a basement recording of Tool’s Stinkfest and 46 & 2...I have a lot of practicing to do...but I read in a post that someone played my style (lefty on the bass drum and hi-hat off right under my ride) It happened because of an accident but it felt so comfortable I never went back) the post was 1973 Wishbone Ash drummer Steve Upton, I was so excited to see someone play like me, although if I were to do it over being able to play both ways would be ideal because I would always be nervous to play on anyone else’s kit because I just can’t play that well right footed.
Thanks for listening
