Here for the gear

Yo

Hello,

Over the pass few years I nonprofessionally build a “space piano” that can house about 5 to 6 synths at a time. I’m interested in learning more about sound design for synths among other topics.

Immediate goal:
I really enjoyed reading the thread about the Prophet 08 vs The P6. The PE 08 is IMO great for brassy/stringy leads. But I heard about using petals to overcome the lack of a sub octave, Mopho SE, and the really cool dreamy Moog sounds. So which type of petals would make the PE08 sound more like the P6? Resources are tight but I already have 2 Moogerfooger Lowpass for stereo out and a Roland Demora
