Here for the gear

Hi all. Found this place by absorbing a pretty deep thread on Soundcraft 200B's. Sure you probably know the one. I started mixing on one in the early 90's and did enormous amounts of shows/bands on it. When it came time for it to go out to pasture it was given to me and Ive had it for 20 years in a roadcase. Recently tearing in and figuring out where the faults lie, I'm glad I saved it from the scrap. I need to get some test equip and bone up on the old electronics skills some more (winters coming), working on some old tube stuff (hammonds, leslie, guit stuff) that needs some TLC to hush down the noise so need some tools but I'll get there when I turn my attention to it (again winters comin). Great forum here, reading about the 200b has made me dig into it and embrace the schematic and visually inspect the various sections, love that process. It just happens to fit perfectly into the case of a Hammond M-3 that I am going to strip down for parts to help out another M-3, so the 200b is going to live in some sort of M-3 console when it's done. (I'll get there eventually). Thanks again, great forum.
