Very nicely executed canvas pours, FreshProduce. Interesting use of acrylics, the quality of your work in composition and use of colorFX reminds me of some of the satellite imagery you see focusing on Earth terrain and coastal areas.
Judging by the responses here, looks like I'm not the only one that can't paint/draw/sneeze for crap. I just finished a fine arts appreciation class and that turned me on to a few things I didn't know that I liked. For the sake of continuing this thread, here's one of them.
These are all on sale on consignment at an artsy glassblowing workshop that just opened in my birth-town. I have a few that are still drying and I'll be sure to post some more when I can
8/17 edit: The first piece on the second row just sold!
How @
FreshProduce
long have you been making visual art? I like what you've done.
Thank you!
I've been a visual artist since I was a child, but I only just recently decided to revisit it after about 10 years. Been too busy learning about sound..
Now I want to pursue both equally
Here are a couple closeups of 3 new pours. (One has sold already)
Also, some album art I did a few years ago, most sampled from my own original photography
(Edited in Picasa)
Can we get some more visual artists to post up in here ffs!?
I know I can't be the only one.. It's not like this is a mechanics forum
