I have a 480L
I'm pretty busy sorry so it won't be free ….
But I guarantee it's the real deal.

Samples don't really help IMHO, part of the joy of the Lexicon system (as you'll know if you have a 300) is the ease of tweaking presets to make them work for you. Can't you just rent one for a few days, they are still carried by rental companies?

I obviously also have the Lexicon 480L 4.1 and can process with both analogue and digital I/O. I only like the following algorithms : Random Hall, Random Ambience and Surround/HD.

I also have the following 224, 224XL 300L and PCM91.

The Lexicon 300L doesn't sound like the 480L.

With a unit costing as much as a used 480 goes for these days, $400 seems to be a great investment in making the right decision. The differences are subtle to some, huge to others, so making a "right" decision could save you thousands..... Rent the unit or better yet, go to a studio that has one and rent some time. Probably cheaper than $400.
