1 Amp 2 Sets of monitors

Is it possible to have 1 amp with some sort of switch where i can connect 2 sets of monitors and then switch between the two?
It would have to be the power output of the power amp that will have the switch.
If so will there be some clipping when swithing between the two?
The amp is a Bryston 4b and the monitors are NS10m and Alesis Monitor 1.

Hi
Yes you go to a Hi Fi or audio shop and buy a speaker selector switch. Avoid the super cheapies (crap switches) and the stupid expensive (rip off).
If you can solder then a decent switch costs about 10 Dollars but you need a box or panel to fasten it too.

get a decent speaker switch atleast capable of 100 watts rms. there shouldn't be much of a clipping issue if you have the amp at moderate levels when switching.

See my recent thread https://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-much-gear-so-little-time/99314-speaker-switching-bright-idea.html

The size of good speaker cable is too large for most hifi speaker switch boxes. Or, they get really expensive. If you decide to build one yourself, you will tend to see a lot of switches that aren't really designed for good thick cable.

An exception might be automotive speaker switches - that 12V stuff is really high current, so that might be suitable. If you get the current rating and physical wire termination right, the voltage probably isn't a major issue.

But I think it's worth looking at standard AC electrical switches as used for wiring a house. They are cheap, big, easy to use - screw a couple of Double Pole Double Throw switches into a plastic box, and just run you cable right to the switch - no plugs, connectors or anything - some rubber grommets so the cable don't chaff.

I have a bryston switch that I would be willing to sell you. I am no longer using multiple speaker sets. Let me know.
