Neve 1073 clone VS Neve original 33115/14

I was wondering if a Neve 1073 clone (I am thinking of the AML which look nice) will bring a better sound than the Neve 33115/14, more weight, and modjo.
THanks for sharing your experience
Regards
Sergio

I do not mean to be a jackwagon, but use search and put in

neve clone vs

You will be able to read text accounts of people experiencing mojo for days.

A nice vintage Pultec EQP 1A could work wonders for you..

It's all subjective though as many great recordings have been made with Neve Melbourn / 53 series gear..

A great instrument sound source to begin with is the best route to take.

This would have to be my response as well. "Mojo" isn't exactly a scientific term.

I'd only add that when I went on my Neve search a few years ago, one I spent months on, I ended up with an Avedis pre and eq and I couldn't be happier. I prefer them to the Neve versions.

This is it in a nutshell.

I will add that you can't go wrong buying any of the quality Neve inspired clones such as BAE, Heritage, AMS Neve, Aurora, Avedis, Great River, etc, All of them will provide outstanding preamplification. The talent, mic, room, production skills will have way more impact on the overall recording than differences in Neve interpretations, that I can guarantee you.

Maybe I should rephrase my question this way: how a 1073 compares to a 33115/14.

Thanks guys
