Hire someone to mix my album

I'm looking for someone to mix my home recorded project of 11 original songs. I just can't seem to get the tunes sounding the way I want and I'm ready to give up and hire someone who does this for a living.

I totally respect the part-time music enthusiasts like myself but I'm looking for someone who does this for a living and can take it to the next level.

Style of the music is rock/ singer songwriter - it's a project of original kids music. I already have mastering lined up so I'm specifically looking for someone to mix only.

It is recorded in Logic Pro. Please feel free to PM me.

Thanks,
Steve

Anywhere we can hear where you got to so far mate?.
There is just a chance there is still a specialist art to this sort of mixing process.:-)

Sure - here is an MP3 of where I am with one of the songs. To me, the bass is wrong, the mids are lacking and the vocals don't punch enough. Also - I can't get the horns to punch the way I want and the clarity with the guitars drives me crazy. Other than that, it sounds awesome - ha!

PM me or email me at [email protected] for more info. I'm doing my best to reply to everyone timely and appreciate the response thus far.

Steve

Not really the place for this...you're going to get deluged.

"Jobs offered" is the right place..but it's a bit of a mess at the moment, so this is just going to get locked and left...otherwise it'll be bumped repeatedly.
