Analog Console Tech in LA

Would love to get a tech contact in LA. Basically I am having my console delivered next week. It's not tube, early 70s, discreet. The folks who serviced this for me will be here in a week, so I am hoping to have a tech locally for a natural transition and understanding of the console, so I will have someone local for maintenance from then on who also understands this console well.

Thanks!

Charlie Bolois, i highly recommend.

Also Stephen Anderson.

Both very nice guys that know what they're doing. Everyone likes to badmouth other techs in la. Seems you can't be a tech unless you have some story about someone else.

But these guys are solid. They've always been a help and never a hinderance.

Thanks so much fellas. I appreciate the connects. I will try them out.
I agree about the whole badmouthing thing as well, I noticed that in Nashville as well.

Some guys charge considerably more.
What kind of console?
Some guys are better for different consoles.

Depending on what console you're putting together, I would recommend different folks with different expertise. Both Charlie Bolois and Steve Anderson have great reps, so you probably can't go wrong with either of them. My guys are very good, and a little more affordable.

I would second the comment on Charlie Bolois and Steve Anderson and I would also Add Greg at Audio Rehab: Pro Audio Equipment Repair for Los Angeles - Audio Rehab and Paul J Cox at:Paul J. Cox

Abe Senna at Myriad Systems in Burbank takes pretty darn good care of my Wheatstone (that is, when it ever actually gives me problems! knock on wood).

I would think this is something you would want to sort out BEFORE buying a console you can't maintain...

You still never told us the make and model of the console. As stated before, it makes a big difference.

Whoever has asked, I have PM'd them on the side as to what it is.
I just didn't want to spread it all on GS until I have it working. So please let me know if you have some contacts and I'd be happy to pm you.
Thanks!!
