PSU For U 47

I need to find a couple of power supplies for U 47's. Anybody got a lead on suppliers for these? Many thanks.

I'd inquire at Hamptone, and Blue as I believe both make PSU with should world with U47s.

Also, don't forget Telefunken in CT. Korby made mine years ago but I am not sure how responsive they have been to customers as of late due to a post here on GS with some complaints.

Any know how to reach Korby? MIA?

Andreas Grosser is your guy. Very high quality PSU's

I think there is no one in the world knows U47's better than Andreas.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I've got a Korby paired up with a 67 but can't seem to get in touch with him. I'll look into Mr. Grosser.

The thing I have always wondered about using Andreas Grosser;

Isn't he located in Germany? What are the shipping costs and various other fees involved from USA?

yes he is in berlin. i guess there should not be any taxes involved for servicing. but i might be wrong. anyways, id not give my mics to anyone but andreas or neumann. he really knows more than anyone else... and is a great guy.

that said, id be careful about a capsule re-skinn. andreas works with siegfired thiersch. and i personally dont like his work. id always get a capsule re-skinned by neumann instead. even if it costs double.
