hi,

i´ve been looking for one for a while now and even tho i´m in germany where they came from i havent seen a working one in more than a year on all sorts of platforms. now i found one which is supposed to look mint for 2500 euro. is that too much? i want that damn thing really bad i have to add maybe

would be great to hear some opinion on todays pricing - i know that they could be bought for basically nothing years ago

i paid 3k us for an immaculate EMT 140… cost me 1500 to pick it up and drive it home… so 4500 us?
New plates? the Pluto is about 5k and the VOG retails for around 7k

2500 Euro sounds fair.

I'm in the same situ. And that's what I'm prepared to pay - 1500-2500 depending on what parts are included and of course condition.

NO!

To me the tube version sounds a bit better.
More gushy and euphonic, especially when you hit it hard.

The transistor version is quieter if I recall.
It need a lot less maintenance too.....

I have the tube amp in my stereo EMT 140 and it sounds amazing!
