21) You are trying to buy back several pieces of gear that you sold previously to buy something else you no longer own (or don't even remember)
22) You believe the maxim 'Right Tool for the Job' means that every piece of gear is the right tool for some future use
23) You actually would like to own 1x of everything ever made
24) You check GS every day even though you don't 'need' anything

Try moving mics and patching cords for that dude sometime!!! I assisted him for 2years,
I thought I grew a full crocodile body suit by the end...

My fav' Fletcher lines on GS and beyond are;

"It made me harder than chinese alegbra"

"What you don't know could fill a book"

"Life is too short to suck"

"It sounds like itty bitty balls of lemming snot"

"Mice and Keyboards are for porn and email, not music studios"

"If you ever hook something up for me that doesn't work again you're fired"

"Its not who you know...or what you know...its Who knows What you know..."

29) If you don't have to re-mortgage your house to buy a new piece of gear, then there will be no improvement in "soundstage.

30) You'll spend two hours on the internet looking for Mogami "twisty-ties."

31) Mogami doesn't make "twisty-ties", so your whole day is spent going through the five stages of grief.

I once had a client that wanted to watch porn while he was re-writing his lyrics to fit a re written syncopated rhythm

Great singer/lyricist and great guy with excellent studio etiquette.
Just a porn watchin dude I guess. After 20 minutes he nailed the takes.

One time, Fletcher sent me to the store for a porno mag..a real slutty one....

Then they cut out all the pictures and taped them to every VU and GR meter in the room.

Needless to say, I couldn't contain myself....
