Quad Eight Bearsville Modules - Who's Got 'Em?

Hey all,

I'm wondering where these Q8 Bearsville modules ended up.
Any of them kicking around?

Thanks,
Seamus

Well Frank has 12 or 14 of them right?

I had two but sold them a few years ago.

Scott Benson had two as well, he got them off Ken McKim.

I believe there were only 20 of them in the original console. Chris at Nevessa would know since he got that console after it was replaced.

If you do a search you'll find out that Les Paul came looking to buy that console at Bearsville after it was decommissioned.

Hey Larry,

Yeah, Frank has 12 of them.

I'm just curious as to where the other 8 are.

I seem to remember that David (Sonic Circus) bought either 6 or 8 and they ended up with Rich Costey while he was mixing Foo Fighters. It was a while ago, so I hope I'm remembering the right modules. I've still got some of the music stands.

Yeah, I found a couple of articles where he mentions QE, but I don't know if they were different modules, or not.

Here for the gear

I designed and built a lot of that Quad Eight console while I was chief engineer of Bearsville from 1973 to 1980.
I have some additional photos.
