Soma Studios has a pair of EAR 660s listed for sale on their website. Click the "Gear for Sale" link.

Make him an offer!

@salamonander

What a conclusion you bring... Apparently you cannot understand that doing what you're doing in your post :
1. you're breaking one of the well-earned myths in audio
2. you're breaching law overt TradeRelatedIntellectualPropertyRights
3. you actually empoverish most of the audio community*

* yes, salamonander : you complain about price without bothering to know of the component's price (on the rise) as well as of the advanceof this unit over the rest of Vari-Mu's.

If it seem'd to anyone madness, then you should have a look on the Art market, when some mediocre paintings go for millions.

------
And component's price is only a factor ; what matters utmostly is the design, and this one offers features of its unique own. In that, point 2 is at stake.

What is a mans design/vision worth vs cost to produce?

The design/sonics to me are the real value of the product.

And how it looks of coarse
