Recording sax with Manley Ref C & Voxbox..

I want to know if anyone in here has tried out this combination for sax ?

Which setting would you recommend ?

Thanks in advance

I'm a sax player, and as a Manley TNT and Gold Reference owner, I opted to go with the TNT instead. This combination is about the same price but I believe is more true to the source, and gives you more flexibility. I tend to ride levels and compress after the recording is done, and the EQ is much less useful than changing your mic/bell position. Also, the tube side is the legendary pre from the Manley SLAM--and sounds like it.

At the 1:30 position 12-18 inches from the slightly below the lip of the bell, pointed toward the center of the horn seems to work for me.
