Using the UV22 conversion on an Apogee PSX-100SE

Can you record back into the Pro Tools session using the UV22 conversion or do you have to record on to an external media such as a cd-writer.

UV-22 is a "dither" program. Dither adds a bit of noise to the lower levels of your audio so things like reverb trails don't just cut off at the end of the their trail but disolve into noise.

Once things have been recorded I have found that adding a bit of the Crane Song LTD. "Dither" is a fair bit more musical than UV-22 [which has never been one of my favorite dithers... but I'm a snot and there are thousands upon thousands who are quite pleased with UV-22].

You print the output from the CD on 2 tracks at like -75ish and blend to taste.

Here is a link to some additional information on the Crane Song LTD. Dither CD http://cranesong.com/analogdither.html
