violin: mono - SF-1, stereo - AEA R-88
dbl. bass: 4038/R-121, and in a good bleed/good room, EW's TC30k
cello: same as bass, but often TC30k's a few feet back
trumpet: 4038/R-121
trombone: 4038/R-121 or RE-20/Senn.441 or if played quietly, a U67
tenor sax: U67
alto sax: Beyer 160/M500NC
tuba: 4038/R-121
mandolin: KM-84/KM-56
dobro: 4038
banjo: 4038, and sometimes TC30k depending on the style
stereo choral: AEA R-88
stereo string section: AEA R-88

etc., etc., etc.,

I know there's way more than these, but it's a start!

Guitar - Royer 121
Snare - ATM23HE/MXL 603S
Kick - e602
Tom - AT 4033
Floor Tom - AT 4033
Overhangs - Gefell UM92.1S Stereo Pair/ KM184 pair
Hi-Hat - NTK w/ mods
Bass Guitar - D6/DI
Drum Room Mic - Gefell UM92.1S Stereo Pair/ KM184 pair/ sometimes mono
Acoustic Gutiar- Gefell UM92.1S/KM184/AT4033

Some choices aren't ideal, but I get by.......

Snare - Audix i5(current favorite) or a 57
Kick - AKG D112 or an Audix D6 with a Yamaha Subkick
Tom -57
Floor Tom - 421
Overhangs - 414's or 451's
Hi-Hat - SM 81
Bass Guitar - 421 or D6 on the cabinet. Also an Avalon U5 or a 737 for the DI
Drum Room Mic - 87's, 414's or TLM 103's
Acoustic Gutiar- 87 and a 451
