Cadac J-Type reliability and general thoughts?

So I'm about to pull the trigger on a small Cadac J-Type console and I'm curious about their general reliability. I'm convinced that the sound and flexibility is just about perfect for my setup (especially for the price), but from the little that I can gather online they have a reputation for being temperamental. Is this warranted or just that they were used day in, day out and toured like crazy?

This specific console seems clean, is coming from a Broadway installation company, and is also being gone over by their techs. I also have a bit of tech experience under my belt and can deal with standard issues, I just don't want to do it every other day Once I have it in great shape, should it give me anymore problems than most? The configuration I'm getting is pretty stripped down (mostly mono inputs, no digitally automated modules), which I hope helps.

Also, if anyone can comment more on their sound that would be great too. I've never worked with one, but people that have seem to rave endlessly about how great they are. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Did you pull th trigger on the purchase? What has your experience with it been since then?

I'm thinking of doing the same.
Thanks,
