I love studio pics as much as anyone, however some in this thread are just "studio shots" rather than "creative studio shots". As in different or creatively captured or setup in a special way.

Yeah - good point. Thought they were kinda cool given very lo light and long exp time. In truth, pretty perfunctory...

It's an old farmhouse that a friend of mine in rehabbing.
We did some mobile stuff there a couple of times.

Those are old Radio Shack intercoms.
I can make them sing with some beautifully distorted feedback.
I realized one day that the distance that you hold them apart equals a wavelength (a note). The vertical tape has notes on it and at what distance each of those notes happen.

Kinda sorta like a theremin, but way dirtier and more fun.

360 Panorama

360 Panorama

Not sure how to embed these, but they are 360 degree panoramic shots of a couple of our rooms. If you view on a smartphone you can hit the gyroscope icon and turn around, and its as if you are in the room turning around. On a laptop you can click and drag it around.

Well, I had two intercoms and while pushing the Talk button on one, and putting it close to the other, there was feedback.
By moving the Talk one around, and keeping the other stationary, you can change the pitch of the feedback.
The farther away, the lower the pitch.
By measuring the distance, I was able to work out what distances equaled what notes.

It was a blast!
