Tube Tech MEC-1A EQ Section

I have read that the compressor on the MEC-1A is essentially the same as the CL-1B. Does anyone know if the EQ section is similar to any other Tube Tech model?

Yes, it's similar to an EQ-1A, except it's only a 3 band eq rather than a 5.

It sounds more like the CL-2A than the CL-1B.

I've already posted this, sorry, but Tube Tech guys replied to my specific email question saying the comp in the MEC1 is NOT the same as the CL1B but is like that on the CL2A. This may not mean bad by no means, but different.
Best regards
Massimo
