Gearslutz Forum member services directory! (free to list) What would you list?

Long overdue, this will be online soon.

What service (paid or barter) would you want to list?

Imagine you had one "core" service and up to 5 additional services you offer that could be "tags". (like drum tuition, re-amping etc)

Help me figure out a listing format...

The idea is to help promote GS members pro audio related businesses or services.

The directory would be visible to members and non members.

Thanks

(I am copying this to multiple sub forums so reply wherever)

I wear a few hats, so here is what I would like to specify. Obviously, it would need to be formetted better than how I've listed it.

Genre(s): Bluegrass, Old Time, Country, Americana, Folk

Education/Training: Bachelor of Music, Vocal Education

Experience: Professor/Director, East Tennessee State University Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country Music Program; 22 years experience as a professional musician

Services: Vocal coaching; production; engineering; studio musician (instruments: vocals, guitar, bass, banjo, fiddle, and mandolin)

Website(s): www.dansmusiconline.com; www.etsu.edu/das/bluegrass

Selected Discography (or this could link to a resume on one's own website, or a pdf, or something else):

I hope this helps. Thanks!

Maybe something like this as a template.... Keeps it to the point, but leaves room to differentiate ourselves.

Core: Producer/Mixer (or simply Mix Specialist if you count P/M, P/E or P/W as two)

Tags: Production; Mixing; Remixing; Remote Services; Consulting.

Top-5 Credits: New Radicals; Hole; Robben Ford; Edwin McCain; Chicago.

Business Website: _____________

Description (160 characters max): Remote & attended mixing & production for Major & Indie artists since 1981. Analog & Pro Tools. Gold & Platinum awards. Writer, musician, former major-label A&R exec.

Jules, will it be searchable by city/town/state/etc. I've ran into a few situations where I or someone I knew needed audio services in certain areas at the last minute.

Thx

What I'd like to see as a potential client:

-Country, City
-Word/Sentece that better describes the studio: ICON studio/ Residential SSL4048/ Cute API1608 room/ Pro 100sqm Live room..
-Rates
-Photo of the place, even a small 130x75 pixels pic would do, so you know whether the place is pro or amateur
-Type: Tracking, Mixing, Programming, Residential, Location, Mastering, PreProduction
-SMS-like (160 chrts) description
-link to website
-Credits ???

Actually, Miloco's studio rates page is almost perfect to me. Just add the studio's location:
Miloco Recording Studios UK & Europe - Recording Mixing, Mastering - The Rates Page
Notice there the rollover that brings further info and a second studio photo

Gearslutz Forum member services directory! (free to list) What would you list?

If I was a potential client rates (number 1), location, portfolio (BIG number 3) and a brief gear description would be all that I would need.
