Never heard of it. I presume it's another of the "dog" series?? heh Got a link?

Maybe try the low end forum or hip hop forums. I think you will find those guys hanging out there. Not saying it's a low end mic, just that Illacov and buddies/users/crew seems to be hanging out over there.

Good luck and let us know how it sounds. thumbsup

The Husky is a high end custom modified microphone that uses the same sized body as the Peluso 2247 and the Advanced Audio CM47. The circuit is custom designed around the EF95 tube. This tube have a warm clear sonic signature.

There are two transformer options for this mic. The Cinemag 2461 NiCo is a good match for this tube and sounds good for the modern transparent sound. The Tab Funkenwerk T47 transformer is also available and has more of an "Old School" sound.

There are several capsules available for this microphone:

Custom JJT47 Skinned in Europe with 6 micron German Mylar.
Neuman K47 (reskinned)
Neumann K47 new
Thiersch M7 PVC or Mylar.

The capacitors are high quality components (Phillips, Elna, Panasonic, Nichicon, Vishay or Rubycon). The Transformer coupling capacitor is a Paper in Oil.

The wire is stranded Silver plated Copper wire with a Teflon jacket.

The power supply is completely re-built with High quality capacitors, Teflon wire and Ferrite beads.

The Husky and the Custom JJT47 capsule will be released and sound clips will be posted in the next couple of weeks.

For those looking for a great mod for the Nady 1050
This is a great platform to put into your mic.
