Looking good Jeff.

There are 4 on evilbay right now but they don’t have face plates unfortunately.

You didn’t get rid of the Amphioms did you?

Those old TAD or Altec 604 components for the speakers? I need me some old 604’s! lol

Hey Jeff, just looked, the guy has 3 for sale and they do have the faceplates but the black got rubbed off somehow. You might be able to fix that.

They’re on eBay for a bit cheaper than Reverb. Package price deal? lol

Hi Larry,
I saw the eq's on e-bay, they look pretty bad! I'm going to hold out for a better deal, or just throw some API 560's in there eventually.
The monitors are TAD 4001 on top with TL-1603's on the bottom. The horns are Eminence H2EA, I've tried a lot of horns but I really like the sound of these. I still have the Amphions and they are great, but the TAD's are just so dynamic and revealing I keep coming back to them. "There is no replacement for displacement" (I forget who said this).

1976 Mci 428

In 2012 I posted my Neotek Series 1E in this thread. I sold it and went through many highend summing mixers for a few years. I was just never satisfied with the sound and workflow.

I purchased this 1976 Mci 428 28x16x4 Channel console loaded with hundreds of large iron transformers. I refurbished it and modded with great Opamps. It sounds so thick, punchy, wide, and dimensional. Mixes come together with ease I’ve been literally doing one pass mixes. Sounds like Rock n Roll!!

Now I’m happy again!
