My Aphex 612 gates have two pairs of sweeping HPF and LPF's on-board. Get those used for $60 like I did.

George Massenburg once said
he got the filter in his mdw plugin
better / with less artifacts than the one
in his 5 k + 8200 hardware.

A nice testament about digital filters.

it´s for their mastering strip. it`s stereo and has dialable characteristics (butterworth, maximium flat, tchebichev 1 and 2 etc.) it´s also switchable between 6/12dB..it´s about 600euro +tax
It's the TM206 or TM206m (mastering version). I have the TM206. Very flexible unit with all the options I need. Sounds great.

LMC + for filters

Seems like LMC + From SSL, bought on the used market may be a good way to go for some really clean variable hp and lp filters. I am thinking about going this route. Jim at SSL says you can use them as just filters by, turning the Threshold all the way up, and the wet/dry all the way to wet.

Old thread that got going again a couple times

The guys chiming in about gates were the most cost effective answers but for a little more money look at the used Klark And Meyer parametric units which were over $2k new but now can be found for around $300 in the US. Lots of clean parametric bands with the filters.

Waiting on the Harrison 832c to become available again...

Online store went down a few months ago, and they said it would be available again in Q3, but so far no sign.

Great design. I like the fact that you can add/attenuate the low/High end, not just cut. How much???
