Neve 66 Series

Hi Guys!
I have the chance to buy a Neve 66 Series Mixer from a Radio Station.
It has 12 Mono and 10 Stereo Channels with all the cabels and the patchbay.
i am building my new studio this days on 110qm an have a 30qm controll room. my question is:
would you spend the money into preamps in 19" format and do the rest ITB or should i really buy this old dino?
Thank you!

Did you buy it? I'm considering a similar purchase!

If you don't mind me asking a few questions-
How much does it cost on electricity bills?
Would I need air con (room has opening windows)
Is the power supply noisy I'd have to have it in the same room?

I would be putting it in my mix room which is a dining room of a big old house I rent, not sure if it's gonna be overkill but if I put it in the studio I work in (but do not own) there may be weeks at a time when I don't have access to it, so I'd just use it for mixing!
Have racks of 1073's in the studio bypassing a toft atb so don't really need the pre amps.

Have been thinking over whether to buy this 66 series for a few weeks and still no closer to an answer, it's a good price but would require a loan!
My hope is to up my game as a mix engineer with the console, I'm already fully booked for coming months but a higher rate and clientele is appealing!
Perfectly happy with itb results but I think there's more fun and vibe to be had!

A: I just use it for Recording, because the Preamps are phenomenal!

Thanks for the reply! I think I'll have to let this one go for now!
Probably to big for my current home setup!
