Yeah, without question, Studio Traps are the one thing I'd either have to buy or make. My mikes do a fine job, but there are others that would work just as well. As for the rest, it doesn't matter that much, though I am still fond of using tape machines.

Well, I'm going the other direction and creating a new one called the Depressor. We can battle it out in the market place. Mine doesn't make the music really sound better, but, in the end, you just don't care anymore.

UAD Cambridge EQ. I get a great guitar tone from my 1084's, but there are obvious limitations to the Neve eq. Cambridge lets me surgically alter what I have tracked.
