Sound like you want a digital delay, but this seems quite awesome:

Hello..

Im in the UK and ive got a couple of delays for sale:
Lexicon Primetime 2- very similar to the PCM42.
I had it refurbished in 2008, all the old capacitors replace, sliders relubricated and delay times maxed out.. im looking for £550 for it.
Also selling an AMS DMX1580S ... had this refurbed too, recapped and all new set of ribbon cables, amazing sounding unit, 1.6 sec on each side- all the mods, £1250.

PM me if your interested!

Don't overlook the Eventide TimeFactor just because it's a stompbox... it's a seriously nice delay.

I am very sorry, I know that we promised delays for V2, it got pushed to V3. Just getting the new alg done took up way more than the appropriate amount of time to get a new release out.

The midi and the front panel mute features are still in.

We also put a non-lin effect in V2. It is based somewhat on the original RMX timing. A big thanks to Martin at Relab for helping out with the RMX style non-lin feature. He made it easy!

So don't hold off on the delay!

Do go for the 42 though, it really is a great sounding unit.

Best delays I've used:
1) Eventide H8000fw
2) Soundtoys Echoboy (software)
3) Ibanez AD-202 (not new, but built like a tank)
4) Moogerfooger MF-104Z
5) A burned out factory with some silo's

Also look at a Yamaha SPX2000.

It can do up to 96khz over AES.

So that Eventide - thats a super multi effect - is it worth the bucks just to use it as a delay or can i run 2 delays out of at once...?
What are peoples views of the TC 6000 as a unit generally?
TC 6000 VS more Bricasti's and some seperate delay units?

don't forget to check one out IF you can find one. I use mine all the time.

Of course it's not worth the bucks for delay's alone. But it does great delays. You could get the cheaper Eventide eclipse, which now includes the delays and other algorithms from their timefactor and other pedals.

I honestly think the 2 algorithm routing is sort of poor. I mean, I'd like to route many algorithms. The H8000fw runs very hot, and really I'd like to see it with 10x the DSP. But I'm happy with it. It is a great device.

Oh, I forgot the Pacarana, which is great for non-traditional delays/echos from your own imagination.

These used to be high end but can be found very cheap, all the Deltalab's (look at a DL-2), the Sony D7, and if you just need a delay with no modulation (like for pre-delay) the Lexicon 1300S. All under $200

The H8000 is the best new delay unit available presently - best sounding, most powerful, most flexible. Whether you want to lay down the coin it takes probably depends on how full-featured a solution you want.

The H8000 has 2 engines, so you can run 2 delays. It's way too powerful to call it a delay, though.

The TC6000 is hands down the best digital FX unit i know. Reverbs, Mastering algorithms, everything top of the line. The desert-island-processor for me. I even have no lust for a Bricasti..

But for delays, I more or less use Soundtoys Echoboy exlusively. It's very very good.
