Speck X.Sum Noise Level

Anyone else with one of these find that the noise level is a little higher than it should be?

I'm having a little difficulty getting acceptable output from a couple outboard synths so the volume needs to be cranked as high as possible but I'm noticing a fair amount of noise at mid to high monitoring levels.

I'm using two for added summing, in addition to my 24-channel mixer.
I am normally running the Master at max and I haven't noticed a noise problem.

You should just call Vince (760-723-4281) at Speck and tell him what you are hearing. He almost always answers the phone and he is great to work with.
