Neumann M147 Power supply

Hello,

is the Neumann M147 power
supply a phantom powering?

Do I still need a good preamp to run it or
can I connect the out of the power supply
direct into a A/D converter (line/xlr)?

If it is no phantom powering what is the
power supply dedicated to do?

Would a Universal Audio LA-610 MKII with
the M147 be a good combination? Is tube
mic and tube pre to much tube?

If you have any other info what I
should mind about, don't hesitate to post.

Thanks, Schizzo

The power supply is not phantom powered and plugs into standerd AC. The M147 needs power for the tubes from the box. You still need a preamp as with any other mic.
