What is the difference between v3 and v4 of the Lexicon 480?

You shouldn't wonder what is the difference btween V3 and V4 but what is the difference between V3 and V4.1...
The answer among other details, is that a V4.1 would let you use the Classic and Surround cart , whereas the V3 wouldn't.
Which one do you have an eye on?

I have my eye on a version 4.1 I guess. I have an EMT 240 Goldfoil, but want to get the lexicon sound alongside. Also wondering whether the 224XL might give me what I want. It just seems hard to find one of these at the moment.
