U87 with Stephen Paul Mod

I have a Neumann U87 which was modified by Stephen Paul that I'm thinking of selling. Any idea what I should ask for it? It's an older U87(70's I think) so it's not the ai version. I have the original case and a shockmount from Vintage Microphone (blue mic restorations).

It really depends on how long you can "sit on it." Try calculating it by a formula like:

going rate of 70's U87's
cost of the modifications
cost of the shockmount
the fact that his modifications won't be able to be done anymore (RIP Stephen Paul), so that paticular U87 just got a bit more rare.

Then see if it sells. If not sit on it a while and as U87's become more in fashion again you'll have a more desireable one. If you have time, you'll be able to get a nice price for it. If not, then you'll likely get a little less than you would have wanted.

going rate of 70's U87's -$1795(
cost of the modifications - $1700
cost of the shockmount-$175

Thanks for the advice. That adds up to $3,670 so that's a good place to start.
