Digidesign RM1

These monitors are rarely talked about on this forum and I wasnt able to find too much info on them here (or anywhere else). But I took the plunge and bought a set of the RM1s yesterday. Probably will arrive next week. Anyway, my question is has anyone else here been using them? They are going to function as one of our backup sets of monitors with the primary being the mains. They are replacing a set of Yamaha HS50Ms which I bought because I didnt want the hassel of buying NS10s. Needless to say they didnt work out. I didnt mind them, but no-one used them and no-one liked their sound. Too much in the upper midrange. All I heard was vocals and high hats in them. Thanks!

Google turns up all sorts of sites.

Hope they work out for you.

Try Digidesign RM2 for a review of the bigger brother.

I found info on them but very few reviews. I saw the emusician one but I was looking for a customer review(s) specifically. Like I said, not much out there besides a few posts on this forum and Sweetwater. These are not one of Digi's popular line of products I guess.

A mate of mine heard them and said they are really nice. Kind of PMC like.
