1 Selective Limiter E560-N
My questions:
Does anybody know something about the Deesser (E560-N)? I cannot find information.
I should recap the modules, but whats about later reselling. What do collectors say to recaped ore otherwise modified units?

Dear Ralf,
Most engineers re-cap, but often this can be a mistake if you do not get the right ones, because some company’s stock today the specs are far more spread out.
In other words if it states 8µf its no good sticking in a 10µf, I have seen a 15µf replaced with a 25µf. the person has gone to his/her nearest Radio Shack type shop, in the UK = Maplins and the guy behind the count states
"Sorry Sir, but it is very difficult to get 15µf caps today take a 25µf, it will do fine"
Some of those should not even be allowed to empty a dustbin let alone advise and sell electronic components.
Later the DIY electronics engineer who has changed 15µf for 25µf is now comparing his original with our re-issue and because theirs now sounds different, they swear that our re-issue is wrong, be-it a Type-69, or a F760, because they will have also changed the none polarized for the nearest as suggested by the counter assistant.
I fully understand Ralf that you are a Fully Qualified Engineer, so therefore I respect that you will get it right,
My Post is for those who are not so qualified, it is in order to help them update and refurbish their equipment correctly.
Here is a LINK, Farnel’s
Aluminium Electrolytic | Farnell United Kingdom
I am told that Farnel are all over the world, although during my many enjoyable studio visits to Germany, I found some excellent stores selling electronic components, there is one in Munich that is totally out of this world, mind you that was 30 years ago
I will look into the 560N, but I would imagine it to be a single module of the Vocal Stressor, or something similar, but I could be wrong.
Best Regards
Tony..
