Pre for Sony c800 (vocal only)

whats a very good mic pre for the sony c800?
right now i'm looking at the wunder peq1R along with a bae 312a... but if you had or have a c800 whats a pre that gives it a great sound

I usually use my Neve 3104s (similar to a 1081) with my C800G.

yuck, i'd never use a 737 with a c800.. i've always hated the 737.. nothing but rack bling cuz it really doesn't sound that good.. i'd talk the avalon m5 with a good compressor over the 737 is a second... my 2 cents..

i'ma check out that pre Fletcher. do you sell it? how much is it

for now i'ma choose the wunder peq1R and add something else to go with it, perhaps the earlybird2

I Have the Pendulum Quartet II, GML 2032 and my results have been excellent with the C800g. Mercenary was kind enough to let me check them out, after many test's with different mics including the C800g i decided to buy them both. Next Test (Better Yet Next Purchase) Great River MEQ-1NV.

vocal compressor wise.. i was gonna get a distressor but i think i like the crane song trakker a little more.
