UA all the way

ISA is a perfectly wonderful, sterile preamp.

UA is a lot for versatile... That being said, I'd get the UA, an API sound and a Neve sound... You could get all three right around $1500 going used and picking decent pieces... Warm Audio for the API, GAP for the Neve, etc

ISA..

Pre has a bit of warmth, but the EQ is a real tool for carving, problem solving and adding a bit of goodness... However vintage Rupert 10xx it aint!

Overall I found it to be an infinately more flexible tool, yet if you're lusting for the tube vibe teh UA will have it in spades.
