Chandler "Lunchbox"?

How long has this been out?

I've never seen or heard of it before.

I don't know if these ever appeared.

I remember getting really excited a year or two ago but nothing happened.

maybe Wade could comment?

I guess you have to sink your teeth into the big kahuna and wash it down with some Sprite:

Funny enough there was one of the mini mixers at my local GC a year back. I thought I was one of the few in Columbus Ohio with Chandler gear.

First of all, I think Chandler makes some of the sexiest gear if I can be so earnest.

Can this frame accommodate other (non-Chandler) 500 modules as well?

That (pictured above) was at AES.

I asked Wade about a Summing Mixer and he said my inquiry was common so he's considering it.

Pretty positive this isn't 500 series at all, and a Chandler only modular thing.

The "tool box"

Not 500 series sizes.

It was called the "TOOL BOX" I had one here at my joint when he first made them.
A very nice package!

It would (could) hold either of these modules.
TG mic pre / eq
TG limiter
Or the a few of the summing modules from his mini mixer.

As you can see in the pic, it can hold up to 6 modules...the one pictured has two TG mic pre Eq's and the remaining 4 slots hold the stereo limiter modules.
Outboard power supply as is standard with Chandler gear.

The one I had was a prototype, and did not offer phantom power on the mic pre's as yet.
At the time Wade was still working on these.
As far as I know, they are custom order only.
